Berger VLD Hunting 185 gn load in 300WM

Hello All,

Friend got his hands for the first time on some Berger VLD Hunting bullets in 185 gn and did some testing with various powders.

This was at 100meters/109 yds with a strong head wind:

Three shot with a mean velocity of 3,100fps
Rifle is a Sako 75 De Luxe with a 62cm/24.4" barrel
Case: Sako
Primer: Federal 215M
Powder: IMR 7828 - Load of 78.5gn
OAL: 3.620"

Apparently he found his load.

Wow! Great! I am trying some 190 bergers in my Mossberg patriot so will see how that works out
.Any suggestions?
