Looking for anyone with experience using 140 Grain Barnes Match Burners in a 6.5 Creedmoor. I am working with H4350 with no promising results. Any one have a different Powder that worked well with these?

I have shot them in a 6.5CM, my 6.5SLR, my 6.5SS, and a 6.5SAUM. While never found a load as accurate as my Berger/SMK loads, they are acceptable for a steel/coyote round at about .5-.6MOA. Especially at the price.
In the 6.5CM and my 6.5SLR, I am using H4350. Both are running between .020"-.030" jump.

Tried IMR 4451 & IMR 4350 so far in Savage Axis. 1" to 1 1/4" most groups, some bigger when working up. . HORNADY factory 140 match not much better. Could be me, gun or? Smallest 5 shot @ 100 yards, groups .800" +. Not the best bullet*. NOTE that the 145 gr may not stabilize in a 8* twist.
Before buying bullets run the https://bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/

A pound of H4350 would be nice to try also.

My experience lines up with Lance......H4350 is what I used in my .260 for .5" groups. It might just be pure coincidence but I seems like I have had several bullets that didn't like H4350 that performed with IMR4350 and vice versa.....

my creedmore likes the 120 match burners with most any powder behind it, but since I have a lot of 4350, so it sees mostly that. I have been using a seating depth of .05" off and it seems to work with the various bullets that I have been able to procure.

Stewart, you didn't give any useful information and a lot of vagueness.
1) What does "no promising results" mean? What's promising to you, 2" group, 1/4" group??? At what distance, etc.?
2) What rifle? Factory, custom, twist, barrel length, etc.
3) Has it grouped more "promising" with some other bullets?
4) 140 Barnes Match Burners grouped 0.292" ten shot group out of my GAP 6.5CM, 26" barrel, using 39.4gr of H4350 at 2673 velocity. Also, 40.5gr IMR4350 grouped 0.56". All at 100 yards off a bench with front and rear bags.
5) Maybe it's your rifle isn't capable of shooting what's "promising" to you.

Not looking for specific load data just experience with powder bullet combos. Yes the post was very vague but I'm not looking for specifics just a general direction to go in. The gun shoots Bergers great, thought I would try Barnes. The bullet powder combo is not grouping anywhere close to the Bergers. It sounds like people have had luck with IMR 4451 and 4350. I will go this route and see what happens.

Gets a big fat MEH from me. Part of that is marginal powder choice and new cases. But still, not what I'd expect from H4350, RL17, or N555. I'm getting low on those powders but bullets have been popping up so I was specifically working with a powder I don't prefer.

The 6.5 CM & H4350 with 140's is as good a combo as it gets. If it does not produce good results with that combo it is likely any problem is not the Barnes Match Burner & the H4350 combo - look at other things. The 6.5 140 Barnes Match Burner is an outstanding bullet, especially for the price & H4350 is one of the standard accuracy powders. I don't have a 6.5 CM but use the 6.5 140 Barnes Match Burner & H4350 in my 6.5X47 Lapua with outstanding results.
