295 Yards. Note that there was a bit of a gusting crosswind the first 175 yds down the range, reflected in horizontal spread.

Never experienced such a dramatic difference in group size by changing seating depths. However this is a very light contoured 28" Brux barrel. I must have caught the harmonically balanced node with the 0.008" Off the lands load.

The 4 green-outlined hits were with 62.2 grains H1000. Bullets jammed 0.008" Into the lands. Vertical spread equals 2 1/2".
Avg MV=2943 fps
ES= 19
SD=8

The 4 red-outlined hits were with 62.5 grains H1000. Bullets seated 0.008" Off the lands. Vertical spread equals 9/16".
Avg MV=2948 fps
ES=22
SD=9

These are the first two loads I've range-tested with the 162 gr Amax in this rifle. Both powder charges are about maximum pressure loads in my rifle. Load development with the 162gr Amax is complete. 0.008" Off the Lands!

Id go with ''red'':D. Very nice. Amazing results with only 3/10ths of a grain difference. Thanks for sharing.
