Hello Joel. I'm certain that I'm not alone when I make this request. Would you please consider making the receivers in satin stainless finish and leave the bolt in dlc? As an option of course. Thank you for your consideration and the wonderful actions you build. I love my kratos lite 257 weatherby. Tribb

We appreciate the kind words and we're happy you like your Kratos Lite.
We cannot ship a receiver without some type of finishing on the steel. Over the years we experimented with several in the silver look. NiB X was the closest we got, but there were issues with the build up in the threads. Since we guarantee our tolerances, that was a deal breaker.
We worked with our DLC vendor to optimize the formula for our products, and that's what we stuck with. It's considerably more expensive than what the others offer, but we have never compromised on our processes. Unfortunately, it only comes in black.
If someone has a recommendation on a PVD process for silver color, I'm all ears.

Stay the course, like your precious rifle-stock creations; you cannot satisfy everyone. What you noted above is all that matters. Keep up the excellent work.
