Got past Monday and the day began good. Plenty of work and parts all showed up. Then about 11:30 I dropped a 140 pound transfer case on my finger on the edge of a steel work bench. I was wearing nitrile gloves and that finger started to swell up and feel wet. About 10 minutes later the glove was swollen up and blood started to leak out around the wrist. We finished what we were doing and I took the glove off at lunch. It looked someone stepped on a link sausage. A couple hours at the clinic and some stitches here and there and back to work. Tomorrow is another day.

Wow…..Red I hat to hear about this!

And like dmj said " tougher than me"! I know that your tough, but doing your kind of work will be very difficult for a while.

Take care of that injury, don't let it get infected, you need those fingers….not only for work, but hunting season ain't that far off!

Wishing you a speedy recovery! memtb

Lol 😂. I probably don't want to see it even if you did have pictures 🫣 Hope it heals up quickly!

Tougher than me. Take care.
Customers still need to have their vehicles back. Tough hasn't got much to do with it. The pleasures of a small fairly technical repair shop. Just can't go to ADDECO to find a temp.

I got antibiotics and a tetanus shot. It got the ring finger on my left hand- trigger finger in on the other hand. Tomorrow I go back to have X-rays. It was too swollen to X-ray today.

Not many people have that kind of work ethic anymore. I'm sure your customers appreciate it. Do take care and I hope you have a speedy recovery. God bless.
