What 10mm is everyone carrying?

Delta Elite. (For lighter weight I'd consider a Glock).

Can't go wrong with Buffalo Bore Heavy Outdoorsman (220gr hard cast at 1,200 fps).

I tested the 220gr 10mm BB - got 1,148 fps. and 20.5" of penetration (same test & same medium - the BB .44mag 305gr @ 1,291 penetrated 21.0") I would not hesitate to use the BB 220gr 10mm.
 
I carry EAA witness in 10MM because I prefer DA/SA pistols. I don't care for striker fired pistols or single action. With a DA/SA I can carry one in the chamber with safety off or de-cocker engaged and if needed I just draw and squeeze the trigger in DA mode for a quick shot. Next round is SA. Also, very accurate. It is also legit concealed carry size so a bit snappy to shoot:-).

I take it your hunts are archery hunts and you won't be toting a long gun?

Side note, my 10 is a Glock 20 with Night Sights. 90% of the people I know out here carry the same in a Kenai Gun Fighter chest holster with BB ammo

Another G20 carrier here. I like it for it's light weight and hi capacity for a grizz capable sidearm. 16 rounds of Underwood extreme penetrator in mine.

I've got a S&W m&p2 in 10mm oversprung to 24# with a Wolff spring set.
 
When the Glock G20 came out, I bought one to carry as a sheriff's deputy when the department transitioned from 357 revolvers. I still have and carry it. However, I carry a G29 I bought for backup every day. It is very nice to have magazine interchangeability. I carry the G29 and one of the G20 magazines every day. Recently, I got a Ruger LC 10 mm carbine, which also uses G20 mags. This is a real tactical advantage, having primary, backup, and 16" barrel PDW using the same ammo and magazines. I recommend Glocks for this and their reliability. That being said, I splurged on an STI / Staccato 2011 combat pistol in 10 mm. It shoots amazing groupings and is capable of out to 130 yards for me. It is like a finely tuned sports car, a real pleasure to drive! My favorite ammo is 10 mm Double Tap 135 grain Nosler. I have also picked up barrels in 40 Super, which are heavy duty 45 cases necked to 10 mm and run 200 fps faster. They are very sporty to shoot! Infact I have had to use single stack Glock G21 magazines because the extra recoil flipped rounds in the double stack magazines. This round is fun to play with, but regular 10 mm is more practical. In any event, I made my mind up many years ago that Jeff Cooper was right, 10 mm is the best round to carry when you want stopping power in a tactical handgun!
 
S&W 1066, almost daily. Why? I live in an area with numerous black bears wandering around, turning over garbage cans, getting in the way when I'm cutting the back fields or even when cutting the lawn around the house. Sometimes sleeping in my garage if I happen to leave the garage door open when I go out. I've come home to find one laying on the cement floor in the summer probably because of the heat. The floor is nice and cool. I sometimes carry one of my other Smiths, a M29 6" but usually my Lou Horton M29 3" as it is easier to carry in a hip holster when sitting in the tractor seat.

I use Colt Delta elite. I load my own ammo. Winchester 571 powder from my "secret" stash with 185's
 
I have a Glock 20, gen 5. I like it so far. I bought it because I found a good deal on it used and money was tight. I would have preferred Sig P320 if I had the money for it. One downside I have found with the G20, gen 5 is that I am having a hard time finding threaded barrels for it.
