Borrowed my gun out for mule deer hunt. 225 yard shot. Buck went 30 yards and layed down and expired in a few minutes. Recovered bullet from hide on off side. It was a slightly quartering away shot that entered behind diaphragm and exited through a rib just behind front leg. Really like my 6cm and 105 hyb from steel to 1k, coyote, antelope, and deer.

Similar to the results I got at 460 yds.
105 Hyb @ 3188MV, impact velocity was around 2550fps. Broadside, bullet smashed a front leg bone, rib on entrance, rib on exit, found just under hide on off side.

That's smoking fast in the CM, I can barely make it to 3000 FPS with H4350.

I have a 8 twist 24" proof cf and am over 3200 fps with h4350

Edit. I guess I backed it down last year to 3100 fps. 41.8 gr h4350, 210m in alpha lrp brass.

Also did a quick 75 vmax load. 46.1gr h4350 at 3550 fps

I must have a slow barrel, proof SS, 1:7.5, 41.3 H4350, 24 inches at 2950 on alpha brass SRP.

Yes, quite fast for 6 CM. If not a long 26-28" barrel then a lot of pressure in that load. Brass might have limited life span ??

Definitely sounds like a slow one....My Dasher sends the 108EH's at 2970ish.

My old 6cm did over 3k with 115's. Definitely a slower barrel.

You like the 108s? I don't see as much about them as the 105 but I'm running the 108 in my creedmoor. Shoot really well and so far only killed two whitetail does close but done a great job on them

I do....they shoot great and seem to work very well on whitetails. My daughter and grandson a have several deer a piece using the 108Eh. She killed one buck right at 400yrds (399) with my 6x284. He ran maybe 15-20yrds tops and fell over stone dead.
