I plan on using my 6 creedmoor for mule deer hunting this fall. I have used it before with 108 ELDMs with good success. Tried some 105 hybrids recently and really like what I'm seeing on paper and steel.

Has anyone used these on deer sized game? I know the 215 hybrids work, kind of hoping it's the same for these.

Thanks

Pronghorn last year w. my 6CM pushing 105 Hyb. 450ish yards. Dropped at the shot, not even a twitch.
Entrance, broke front leg.

Bullet was just under offside skin, blew all the hair off, and almost existed, actually just started to tear skin.

Any difference in performance from the hybrid to the VLD Hunting? Scrapping the 103 ELDX and going to try the 105 hunting in my 6 Dasher.

I use the 105 vld hunting in 6br with very good results . Dropped several deer in there tracks with them out to 600 yards.

I use them in my 6mmAI's, and I have taken deer and similar sized game out to 800. Results at 6-700 are similar to what you are seeing above.

What kind of velocity are y'all running the vld hunting? I'm 29 rounds into a new barrel that I've done the Berger seat depth test with 40gr of rl16 @ 2989. Ready to start playing with powder/charge weights. Lapua srp.
