Well now I've just joined for a 22lr competition local to me in South New Jersey....Yikes. I guess I'm gonna find out how all this goes. Welp I'm all in now.

Yeah both really. I just joined for a 22 match. I am going to a practice session tomorrow morning.
The first one is center fire. But I am going to do a 22lr match. Practice tomorrow morning. Oops today make that. Got to go to bed after I get my rifle and ammo setup.
Thank you to everyone who replied as I got an idea of things to come. Gonna break the ice today with a practice session.

Well I had my practice at the club and it was fantastic. I got to shoot at the farthest distance I have ever shot 216 yards. Yes I know its not far but from a NJ guy who only ever shot at 100 yards this was just incredible.
I bought and downloaded Strelok pro that he suggested and helped me get started using it. Put my rifle and load data in and he said see the 6" red plate their. I said yup he said shoot it. Strelok said 216 yards is 7.8 mills so dial up parallax set and smooth trigger and let her fly. Bang.. then. Then.. then nothing, crickets. Guy said see the wind flags gives u an idea of what's its doing over there. Lol But i saw my bullet hit left of the plate so I was then able to get a good guess on how much I missed by. So I held off .5 mills to the right for that right wind and sent another one down range. Bang... D. I .N. G. THAT WAS INCREDIBLE TO HEAR. Gave a small shout saying I HIT IT. Big smile on my face. Guy smiled back. Nice. So I did that 10 more times bang DING. 10 in a row. Man I can't tell you how hearing that Ding made me feel. Beyond excited. So I used Strelok to dial on all the gongs. 154 yards 101 yards 50 yards and of course 216 yards. Holy cow Strelok was freaking dead on. Hit every one after that first miss. Lapua center x was smashing it. Only time I missed was when the guy put me under pressure to shoot timed and I forgot to dial. Oops. DID THAT TWICE shhh don't tell anyone else. Lol
One big huge gargantuan tremendous mistake I made. It's terrible awful so bad. I bought a few boxes of ammo to try at 50 just to see if it has potential. RWS eh two varieties. Super and subsonic. Nothing special. Then I pulled out X ACT. SHOT 5 rounds basically 1 hole. Then 10 rounds thinking it was a fluke with the first 5. F no freaking 1 hole. If it pans out at 100 yards and hammers their too I am gonna buy 30 boxes. Maybe 100 boxes with same lot number. Unbelievable. I was like no no no no . They guy said what's wrong and I told him X ACT is shooting 1 hole basically. He sad how did centerx shoot I said good but a bigger single hole. I just checked from where I got my X ACT. OUT OF STOCK. story of my life.
