not as much as the regret of building this whole thing on a SA Savage action. The aftermarket support is too limited. I was able to sell the chassis for a fair price so that helped. It's still a pound heavier than I wish but 8 1/2 pound rifle isn't terrible.

Does mini chassis mean bedding is NOT required? Nice set up.
I store my Peak 44 (Weatherby Backcountry) in a muzzle down to keep any weight off that recoil pad. Hoping to get some good lifespan out of the recoil pad.
McMillan is making stocks againSavage can be tough to find support for.

HS Precision has Savage stocks that can be be set up for long range.

Unfortunately McMillan and Manners have stopped making stocks for them. Although Manners may still do one for the SA Savage.
