I just picked up a 6mm ARC in a bolt gun and ran some Tubbs Final Finish lapping bullets through it, as well as breaking it in. I have done alot of reading on powders, bullets, brass & primers to get an ideal where to start on load development.
But wanted to check with some of you that have 6 arc. If you don't mind sharing your best powders and bullets to get the rifle tuned in. I have had great success with the folks on here tuning in rifles in the past. And would be grateful if you would share what worked best for you. And I thank you inadvance for what you would share. The specs on the rifle are below.
Thanks again

The rifle is a Savage 6mm ARC, twist is 1-7.5, trigger tuned to 1lb. Topped with a Trijicon Tenmile 6-24x50. Lastly the gun is showing signs of being a shooter as I was getting 3/4" group with factory Hornady ammo.
Thanks again David

For powder I'm using Hodgdon lever evolution but mine is in a gas gun

Starline 6.5G formed to 6mm arc
30.0gr cfe223
108 eld-m
2.270 COL/1.700 CBTO
Cci450

That's my load for my howa 20". Runs somewhere around 2700 depending on temp, which is one of the things you have to keep in mind a bit with the ball powders. Not bad at all though, just take velocity readings at a few different temps and plug it into your ballistic calculator. That load accounted for 3 whitetail (furthest at 362), 1 boar, and 2 axis bucks this year so far. I'll take something bigger for the axis deer next time but worked like a charm on everything else.

Also tried LVR, and can squeeze a little bit more velocity out of it, but leverevolution is way more temperamental on top end for me. You seem fine till suddenly you aren't, whether it was going up a few more tenths, or the weather getting a little hotter.

Mine also loves 105 berger hybrids, but I have much more faith in the eld-m on game, and they're much cheaper.

I have been running a Whitely 6mmAR, which is essentially the same cartridge) in my gas gun for for about 15 years. I use 28-29gr of R15 with 105/107 gr Bergers and SMK's at 2700-2800FPS. Exceptionally accurate, and +20 reloads using necked down Lapua(6.5 Grendel) brass. My go-to rifle for 300 yard Egg Shoots.

I've put together a 6mm ARC Bolt gun off a Savage 10 action with a 24" barrel, 1-7 twist when the 6mm ARC first came out rather than going to the AR platform.
Tested a lot of powders. The following is the success I've had.
90-95 grain bullets – IMR 8208XBR – Decent velocity and great SDs
103-108 grain bullets – AR-comp & H4895 –
Savage 10 GRS 6mm ARC at the range.jpg

110 A-Tip - for velocity – CFE223.

What length barrel? Bolt is holding up, and any idea if the 6mmAR has any more case capacity? Guessing it's really close to arc.

I'm tempted to build an upper and already have a spare grendel/arc brownells bcg, but would like to be able to run the same load as my howa. Right now I'm loading longer than AR mag length partly to make sure they don't end up in one, as 30gr of cfe is a bit over max for AR data. I'm iffy on venturing much past book max with a hogged out bolt for an ARC, or my 458 socom for that matter...can't really go by pressure signs there.

A 16-18" AR in 6arc would be a sweet truck/buggy gun.

I'm running an 18 inch ballistic advantage barrel

For the bolt gun, I have found Varget to be the most temp consistent. It is not the fasted, however it worked well for me. I am around 2,825 out of a 26" barrel with the Berger 108. I would not recommend this for a gas gun, however in my bolt gun it works.
