Good day
First thanks to all with the comments on the 375, it helped alot. Now another question. I want to know between Hornady ELD-X 143 gr or Berger Ellite hunter 140gr which one do you guys think is better for hunting en performs better? This will be for the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Thank you

You will most likely get a lot of opinions on this, including mine. They will both work with proper shot placement. I would use the one your rifle likes the best. Let your rifle choose the bullet. JMO. Happy hunting!!

Run the Berger 140 EH in my hunting 6.5 Creed. Haven't had a hog or a whitetail take a step and is very accurate. Tried the ELD-X but couldn't get it to group well. That said the 140 ELD-M load in my 6.5 target rifle is the most accurate I own. Go figure.

I killed 2 animals with the ELD/X one was with a 6.5X55 and the other was a 7RM just past 250 yards. Both bullets blew up and wasted a lot of meat. Good bullet out passed 300

I have killed quite a few animals with the 140 Grain Berger with my 6.5 x 284. I know they work well and shoot really good. I do use the eld-x's in my 7mm LRM and they shoot very good and have taken several animals as well out to 700 yards. I agree with the other both will work use the one that shoots the best out of the rifle you are taking.

whichever your rifle shoots best--both good bullets but we had trouble with core jacket separations in the 143 ELD-X...which was a heartache because we like that bullet--others we know have had no problems tho . I'd also add 142 Nosler Accubond LR to the mix. Great bullets and we all settled for those and Sierra Game Changers in our various .264 rigs.
