Bore scope

I was too. And boy am I glad I took the chance on the teslong. Really wasn't a chance either on Amazon Prime because you got 30 days to send it back if you don't like it. My friend had the Lyman and he thinks the teslong is nicer too.

This is weird!!!!! I just ordered a Teslong that is iPhone compatable just BEFORE I read this post. wow. I was hoping it would work well, sounds like it will. the one I ordered was $74.99. thanks for this post
 
It seems there are several different ones available. Some do not come with a monitor (you just plug it into your smartphone), and some do not come with the side view mirror (which is needed for bore inspection). I need one that has both- the monitor (I do not have a smartphone), and one that also has the side view mirror. Which one should I order? Thanks from a Senior citizen that is "Tech illiterate".
 
Best bet is a cheap little laptop, used or otherwise, for convenience. Any chance you have a pc to plug the usb into? I'm not sure if it can plug directly into these usb monitors or not. I'll research

I thought one or two of them came with a small monitor (about the size of a camera). I have a laptop, but don't want to carry it to the range. Also, if using a laptop, you might have to download something to get the thing to work.
 
I'm sure one email to teslong will get your answer fast. They have great follow through and customer service. I think one of their guys is on accurate shooter or benchrest central. Heck could be sniperhide. I followed a big thread before I bought mine. I had bought one of the first models they offered and it was useless for rifle barrels. Couldn't focus close enough. And I had sent it back. Then I caught that thread and it was enough to convince me to try the new one out.

Thanks, I did send them an email yesterday asking what model I needed to get one with the monitor. They supplied a link to their catalogue, and did not recommend a model #. Maybe just the rep that I got, but they weren't much help, so I came back here hoping for some guidance. I think they are in China, and there might be a little language problem due to some of the context and wording they replied with.
