With Memorial Day approaching I would like to thank all of our Veterans and there Familys for Your Service and Sacrifice, Thank You for the Freedoms we Love and Enjoy in this Great Country of Ours, A debt that we could never repay, We Honor You.
Semper Paratus! And Thanks to those from all branches of the service who have passed through this life protecting the US, it's friends and all peace loving people on this earth.
This weekend though isn't for us, it's for those who didn't come home. Remember them in your thoughts and prayers and consider donating to one of the foundations like Wounded Warrior Foundation which helps provide benefits to the families of the fallen.
It is my pleasure and honor to serve (retired from the USAF in 2007 but still works for the Dept of the AF) this great nation but like WR noted, Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving, whereas Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans.
