6.5 Creedmoor bullets

I think you have Match Kings and Game Kings mixed up. But you don't need MK's if your shots are 100 yards or less the 6.5 120 grn. Sierra Pro Hunter will be more than capable for what you want and accurate too.

My 6.5 CM shoots the best with the Berger 140 VLD Hunting 42.4gr H4350 seated about .010 off

I have been harvesting whitetails with the 260 rem for about 15 years now at an average rate of about 5 a year. In that time I have tried the 140NAB, 125NPT,120NBT and the 120TSX.

The 120TSX has been the best of that lot to date just hit them in the chest and see what happens. I had 6 or 7 not move a step in a row ranging in weight from 80 to 125 pounds field dressed.

The 125 NPT and the 120NBT are pretty good as well but they run more.

I have been trying to get the 100 TTSX to shoot accurately I will try them next season hopefully.

My 6.5 CM shoots the Hornedy 140 ELD-M lights outs . So hoping to see how it performs on Deer this fall. I have heard good reports on how it performs on Deer.

I like the Hornady 143 grain ELD-X. It is accurate and deadly out of my 22" 1 in 8" barrel. I have been loading some H414 and will soon be trying some HSuperformance. I don't remember the COL but I used what the Hornady manual listed. My velocity with the H414 has been 2600 fps.

I've always liked Speer hpbt as a reliable cheap deer round. Decent BC, use them frequently reliable expansion and I've had exits with most of my kills around the 300 yard mark. Haven't tried the hot cores but imagine a similar result. Hornady generally has some basic hpbt rounds that are reliable at the ranges your shooting and significantly cheaper. Mine are 6mm but I'm assuming they have similar 6.5 offerings.

41.5 gr H4350 and 140 gr Sierra bt Game King. Kills elk too.

I've used 140 eldm the past 2 years with great results, but gonna try the 129 soft points this year if they group well in my rifle.

I thought the 143 eldx bullets were too soft on elk and deer. That is why I switched to The Sierra 140's. I was happier with them, but very limited experience so far.

Hornady 143 ELD-X

Last season I killed 2 deer with the Hornady 143 grain ELD-X and both were quick kills. The accuracy is excellent with these bullets. I finally found some H4350 and have worked up some loads around 2600 fps out of a 22", 1 in 8" barrel. I will use these this coming season. The H414 I was using worked well also but I think the H4350 will be a little less sensitive to temperature change.

I would hazard a guess that the ELDM is very much like the discontinued AMAX. That old 140 AMAX was a very accurate bullet and was very traumatic on the whitetails I harvested with it.

140 gr ELD-M. I've taken a few antelope with the 140 gr ELDM and AMAX with good results.

143 ELD-X is what mine likes. At that distance on deer any good expanding bullet should work fine though.
