Saw Ruger Predator on sale last night for $380.... not as nice as a rifle as the savage LRH but at almost $300 cheaper, it's very tempting

Then doesn't that eat up the 300 dollar difference between the two? I have a LRH in 6.5cm, light is not an adjective I would use to describe it.

I think the Predator is probably a good rifle, but not sure I'd say it is going to be light either depending on your stock up grade.

Take the time to look at a Tikka superlight stainless in person, not as "cheap" as the Predator, but lighter and less expensive than the LRH.

The Tikka is $650... same price as the savage LRH
 
Savage model 11 long range hunter is $650 at a long sporting good shop. Comes with the on/off break and the adjustable check rest
