Yeah, hard pass on the Lee. Linkage hasn’t improved much I see.

I started reloading back in ‘86 with a Lee Challenger 2001 and the linkage broke. Cheap pot metal garbage. Have never touched a Lee press since. Has the linkage improved much? Also, the price difference between a Lee Classic Cast and a Rock Chucker is about $50.

Yes, it would be hard to justify the price of the 419. I’m starting to lean towards the Big Boss II now. I have Redding scales and their 1400 trimmer. Also very well made.

I hand prime, so not a big deal if press doesn’t have it. I can get a Big Boss II for $375. So not too much more than the Rebel.

I used to own a big boss years ago and was incredibly well built.

So between the rock chucker and rebel, there is less than $12. Decisions decisions.

My only pet peeve with the rock chucker is the spent primer catcher. It sucks. The rebel looks good though.

Any opinions on the Frankford Arsenal F-1?

I am in the market for a new press and looking for suggestions. I only load rifle and at the moment only 8mm RM and 222 Remington. Any input is welcome :)

Picked up some 139gr IB for my 7mm RM and was wondering if anyone has experience with them in the RM and what powder(s) would be good to start with. Game will be whitetail deer.

Was able to pick up a box of 156gr to try and wondering what powder you guys recommend? I currently have N565 and RL26. Hornady brass.
