Appetizer prep: Elk sirloin strip marinated in Thai peanut sauce rolled in panko batter.

Appetizer: Deep fried elk sirloin strip marinated in Thai peanut sauce rolled in panko batter, pickled papaya, Thai sweet chili sauce and complimented with passion fruit liqueur and ginger ale.

Pork sausage and crab meat sauteed with garlic and onion simmered in coconut milk, Thai red curry sauce, Thai red chili sauce with red onion, red bell pepper, green beans, bamboo shoots, and basil leaves ... with brown rice. Drink is Thai tea spiked with Belvedere vodka.

Black sweet rice cooked in coconut milk, vanilla, and sugar topped with mango sauce.

Sorry, I'm not very good in recipes or following them, I tend to wing them as I go along. I have various cookbooks from various cuisines that was given to me but just used them to get inspirations. :D

My wife and I love all kinds of cuisines and I do love kitchen experiments. :cool:

L:DL! I am fortunate to come from a family of awesome home cooks. Growing up, I was always the victim, I mean taster of whoever is cooking in our kitchen. :cool:

My Dad was a cook in the Navy and when he retired, he cooked for his Admiral.

I understand. I cook the same way. Im a PITA when it comes to giving recipes.....they usually involve the phrase "add xxxx until it tastes right"
