He had some Weatherby brass for sale on here a short while ago. I PM him twice and replied. HE NEVER responded. I don not believe a person should have to beg in order to do business. Hope you have better luck than I did but I will not try again..

+1! He's a busy one man shop smith and IIRC, he sets aside a certain day/time (during non-operating hours) to respond to e-mails.

With hunting season just around the corner, most smiths esp. those that are well sought, are very busy.

Not making any excuses for him (and other smiths), but remember, they have family too and needs the "me" time.
