Proof PXT testing with Alex Wheeler

I'm pretty curious about the claims Proof has with these new PXT barrels. Many of us here have shot 28 Nosler barrels out. It would be a good test comparison. I purchased a 22" Proof PXT barrel and Alex will chamber in 28 Nosler. I will shoot N570 and 195's. Should be up and running in 1-2 weeks. I'll post findings for those wear, accuracy, increased pressure ability here.

That will be a really good test. The 28, like my 7 Rum, doesn't take long to show wear.

Are these ECM cut or just gain twist ?

from what i remember it ISN"T a twist gain, but a gradual engraving of the rifling for X amount of length

Sons of liberty guns video on you tube about the PXT suggests a substantial gain in velocity noting the matched long barrel performance with a much shorter barrel, and had to slow down their PRS loads. It would be great to get the same speed from a shorter/handier barrel. In overbore cases I always choose long barrels to take advantage of powder capacity.
