I feel your pain.I'm 60 but electronics get me confused and frustrated most times. But Old Rooster if I can do it you can do it!
I only have two complaints about the fury and they're not really complaints considering the value and the price range.one being glass there's not as good as the Leupold binoculars I had previously, and it takes four or five seconds for your ballistic solution to pop up after ranging.

I have both the Sig Sauer 2400bdx and the kilo 5k. They are outstanding units at a fair price. And using them (when paired)) with BDX riflescopes is amazing.
stiff neck and rlshrumva I looked at the Sig Kilo 5K and it's priced right.Is there an advantage to Binoculars over Monoculars?
I think there's definitely an advantage to binoculars as far as field of view, ability to get on target faster, and eye fatigue.
Thats a big selling point with me!

The BR4 has 10x magnification and once you set up to your combo the only thing you need your phone for is wind I believe ( like local weather) , or you can use any wind meter and input wind in manually. But I also think that it will give you hold overs in moa or mils over 2000 yards. The br4 runs in the 1350.00 range for price

Exactly what 338 said, the glass isn't up to the same level as say the zeiss or swaros but still good for the price point and warranty
They are a little slower giving a solution compared to some others but not that bad.
If you're not a glass snob I don't see the downside(unless your want 12x). It cuts down to one optic instead of packing a pair of binos and a rangefinder.
I still go back and fourth tho on what I want to do. Currently I run the zeiss victory rf binos, but part of me wants to go to a 12x bino and run the br4 rangefinder.
But I just can't get myself to do it…. I'm also anxiously waiting on revic to release a ballistic solver bino.

In field use you'll get about half the max distance free handing binocular rangefinders. Unless you've got a solid tripod (which I don't carry in the mountains). You can rest on a pack or rocks to get extended ranges but then you are hoping nothing low is in the way.
I actually like Sig clarity but I hate the way rear ocular would move around once laid against my chest.
It has the most lee way to lock-in a range.
Zeiss is great with clarity but very finicky with laser. The numbers jump too much making me question range. I think great in open terrain but laser is so pin point accurate if a blade of grass got in the way it would pick it up (hyperbole).
I finally quite wearing them into field due to weight. I use old standard Vortex rangefinder. With dope written on side of stock.

Binos definitely have an advantage, and as far as the warranty, that is the main reason I chose Vortex (and price) I did not want to have just a pair of Plain old binoculars a few years down the road.
Tyler25246 not a glass snob at all.I had a friend I hunted with in the south that was an eye doctor and much older than me and said as we age our eyes see differently than younger years.His expensive Zeiss scopes looked no better than my Leupold scopes and he told me to expect it and I see that now.Not a glass snob at all.There are anomalies but thats the average persons lot in life.
