I Bit the Bullet....Building a 33XC

After Shooting in the King of 1 Mile and King of 2 Mile matches since June with a 300 PRC in Light Gun Class. So I built a 375 Cheytac for Heavy Gun Class and now building a 33XCto get a little more power and distance with a 33XC.
My shooting partner has been shooting a 33XC all year and did pretty good.After reviewing the entries and rsults of the King of 1 Mile about 90+ percent of the shooters are using a 33XC.SoIfigure Im handicapping myself witha 300 PRC and 30 Sherman Magnum..Even though I di pretty good for a newbie in the ELR.

I sure will.Actually I'm building two.
One on the cheap Budget end and one on the upper end.
I bought a new Savage 112 rifle in 338 Lapua Magnum for the donor action and a X-Caliber barrel.
The other has a Stiller TacDriver Action abd a Bartlein Left Hand Gain Twist Barrel.
My friend has a 33XC Built on a Savage 110 action in a MDT chassis with a shouldered Bartlein barrel. No barrel nut.
It shoots very well.
I went with the 112 because uts a little bigger action.
I want to see just how much difference their is. Abd what do I gain or lose between the two rifles .
 
I have spent countless hours and loads for all the 338's Rums and Edges ..
So far the 3027 yards is my furthest to date .
I push the 300 gr bergers in the Edge at 2884 ft.per.sec with H-1000 .
My buddy just had Shawn Carlock build him a 338 Edge and he has a load running 3147 ft.per.sec.
Almost gets me excited to get some work done to my Elr Edge ! Things sure have improved since mine was put together.

I had my buddy's help me drag up the steel target and saw horse in my Ice fishing Sled!
55 moa nightforce base, Valdada 200 min adj.base. two sets of Vortex precision rings and a Vortex gen 1 Razor .
That set up give me 325 min. of Elevation.

There is people running them as a hunting rifle. There is people running 375 Cheytac in hunting rifles. I wouldn't build it uber light but like in the 15-16lbs range

You got details on this rifle and load?
That makes me want to order a 338 Barrel. Haven't even got my 375 wildcat chambered yet.
