212eldx or 215 Berger hybrid 300PRC on elk?

So is the 208 berger for sale at Midway right now that much different than the 215??
Not much. I experimented with the 208 last year. Shot lots of hogs and two deer. Everything i shot performed like the 215's. The deer I shoot you could pretty much run your arm through the cavity. I wouldn't hesitate to not use them. I actually have a 300 win mag zeroed in with them. I can post the recipe shortly with them. I can pull it up on a spreadsheet using my phone.

300WM AntiX 26" saami proof
208 gr Berger hybrid 0.045" off lands
ADG brass 3rd loading
Fed 215M
N565 77.6 grains

The group pic is at 200 yards. Yellow square is one inch.

215 is on left and 208 is on right

And there has been 210vld hunters with scattered availability...
Maybe they are a little thinner/thicker than the 208's??

Why in God's green earth would a company have such a good thing in the 215 then make 27 more items and not be able to delivery any of them to keep pace with demand?? I can't fathom this stupidity.

Of course Nosler could put a plastic tip on a partitioned vld shaped bullet and own the whole market. Gosh, maybe I need to settle down must be ready for Saturday LOL

I bought the Berger 215's quite a few years ago and have had great luck with them on a lot of animals, but running low on them so don't shoot it much anymore. They are in my 300 win mag. It does a great job on elk for sure!
