Would going just past where shoulder meets body be good enough, I've been going down about .25 past that but wonder if it's necessary

Looks good to go in the photo, you only need the neck and shoulder done as these are the parts you are working during resizing.

How are you annealing them?

Do you FL, Bump or just neck size?
I bump shoulder with body die and then neck size, so just slightly going past shoulder where it meets body should be enough? As you can see in pics I'm going about .25 down body I'm asking if I even need to go that far.

The neck and shoulder is the main focus areas. You don't want to anneal any further down from the shoulder than is necessary so that the body and webbing aren't too soft. You can run into issues with case head separation of those areas become too soft.

So I can do a little less, correct?

Looks good to me.
I just did a batch of 375H&H brass to fire form into a few different casings and had some that showed very little annealing marks….very strange. At first when I was getting them out of the metal pail, I thought they had been missed somehow.
The same thing happened with my 416 Rigby brass.
Here's a pic.

MagnumManiac, those are perfect looking annealed cases...just recently started induction annealing, (diy annealer) formerly flame annealed, and I am amazed at the consistency of the results.....I have been on alot of forum posts about annealing....only thing I can add is from all the people and places that do annealing, I believe that the Tempilac 750° is NOT annealing.....since I started using the induction , my annealing line AND seating pressure is alot more consistent.... but, I do believe that flame annealing is as good as induction if done properly... rsbhunter

I agree, you cases look perfect. On those odd cases, you might weigh them??? to see if they might be thicker or something. That might be telling you something???

I've had cases that come out looking "wierd".... not at all like the other 99%...I don't know why, exact same procedure, but, I either use them for sighters, or barrel warm up. I think it might be the brass make up, or ???? But annealing has made my shoulder bump and seating measurements stay +/- .0005....rsbhunter
