Just in the planning stage right now. Not quite sure which one yet28? Curious and will watch the build!
It's currently just an action.Times such as they are and looking like things aren't changing anytime soon, I'd leave that 7mm mag chamber right where it is...that 150fps ain't worth letting it sit there doing nothing. Later on when things ease up go right ahead...
Think hard before choosing what to have attached to it, crazy times we're going through..Got a friend who won a 6.5x300wea last winter, still hasn't found a single shell...It's currently just an action.
Was thinking that or a 33 nosler. But not sure the adl magnum mag box will workIf I was gonna do it 30 Nosler to stay under 3.7 with the heavier bullets
I had going to do this and decided to stick with 300WM but with improved case/shoulder. Water capacity is within 1 grain of the 30 Nosler case.If I was gonna do it 30 Nosler to stay under 3.7 with the heavier bullets
That's crazy local hole in the wall gun shop here has several boxes of that on the shelf.Think hard before choosing what to have attached to it, crazy times we're going through..Got a friend who won a 6.5x300wea last winter, still hasn't found a single shell...
Man that's a tall order to improve a case with 90gr powder to 100gr powder. I know my fired adg 30 nosler held almost 101gr water, 28N was almost 103gr. Peterson/adg have their 300wm brass spec'd at 89gr. A 300wm running 215 Bergers at 2950 with H1000 is a hell of an all around big game rifle that will have a long barrel life.I had going to do this and decided to stick with 300WM but with improved case/shoulder. Water capacity is within 1 grain of the 30 Nosler case.
Kept the neck/shoulder junction in the same place so I can shoot standard 300WM.
