Well to wrap up this story we did not get a bear,but I was successful in so many other ways on this trip. it is hunting not killing so you may not make a harvest every time but that does not define the trip. A hunting trip starts when you plan and ends when all the gear is clean after you get home and as I mentioned earlier this was a huge VICTORY for me personally in many ways thanks to my Hunting partner and friend (hecouldgoalltheway)

I'm lucky I was able to take any pictures I was too busy sucking wind and worried about having a heart attack from all the climbing

Next time get a chair...sit outside the tent and make all those struggling noises sitting comfortable....the Bears will come to you!

I got 4" of wet snow to play in on day 4 and -3 degrees. But it brought the Elk out last morning...1/2 mile from the cabin
