Ah, but like many things in life, it's not about the investment ($-wise, anyway)!Looks like a poop sandwich so far, but after all the sanding and repair, it should work out. Only 150+ hours and thousands in parts to make a cheap knock off of a $650 stockGreat investment

I kinda have the paint part figured out. I'll definitely sponge paint over the fixed areas
I exaggerate time and money, but it has been a great learning experience. After another couple eh1 types, I want to figure out the eh5. That is by far my favorite. A couple chassis builds would be nice too .... and it never ends
I have a couple aluminum bedding blocks for rem 700 actions of you want to give it a try.

Thank you for the offer though. Amazing how good those paint guns can do if you set them right.I used this and it works fine, but want to try something a bit stronger.
