mcmillan are they really this busy...

i am going to start a new build and am wondering if there is anyway to get components faster. i want to order a mcmillan htg stock with an adjustable cheek piece. are there any suppliers that have these on hand so i can get one faster than waiting the 6 months. does anyone else have this style stock that is of the same quality. i would even buy a used one do you guys know of any places to buy them used?

I will never deal with them again ,their customer service sucks !!

I would recomend the Manners stock and the adjustable comb they use is far better than the one that McMillan uses

I like the mcmillan stocks......and probably shouldnt say this, but robertson composits stocks are nicer IMO. Not to mention if I am not picky about color.....which I am not.....I get them real quick.

do these guys have an adjustable cheek peice like the mcmillan. for that matter does manners make a htg stylr with the cheek piece..

I would check Mcmillans site under Specials. Otherwise 4 or 5 months is definitely worth the wait!

I own stocks from McMillan and Manners. I like them both; the wait for a McMillan is too long - but that is just my opinion.

Manners does not currently make an HTG with an adjustable cheek. If that is what you are looking for McMillan is currently the only place to get it.

Look at what Manners does make, the KMW-designed adjustable cheek gear is excellent.

I also think the H&S PRECISION stock are very well made i have a few of them as well as McMillan .

i am really tempted to try a manners but they dont have quit what i want in a stock that resembles the mcmillan htg. i guess if i dont like it what am i out someone will want it so i will only lose a couple bucks do you guys know how long it takes to get a manners.

McMillan stocks

they are extremenly busy.i have to custom builds at there shop awaiting stocks since Jan 2008.but its worth the wait.
you may also try Brunos shooter supply or TM stockworks.
