Nice buck. Good hunting. Uncle lived on acreage outside New Port Richey...before he retired to Missouri. Told him he had it bassackwards. Said Florida deer were snack size. That would be a nice snack. What area of Florida? What will deer weigh in Florida? How long are Florida deer seasons? Harvest limits?

I think you are right! Most of those little deer winter down there from Alberta so they can grow bigger without the harsh Winter!

Definitely a nice southern buck. Very heavy antlered too. I killed an 8 pointer years ago in NC that looked huge. Lots of ground shrinkage tho just due to how small the body was. Rack looked huge but he was only a 95lb buck. It was still a great rack just not as enormous as it looked at 175 yards on that small body deer. Was a 15" 8 scored around 95". I think it was a decent buck for that location also. Even for my area here, a 95" deer is decent.
