Holy hazmat!!!

You have to select the "get code" button and apply it. Midway can be pricy for powder sometimes... Just gotta shop around.

You have lost most of your gun right their, and we here in the USA don't wake up we will be in the same boat.
This is true in both of your statements.
I dont really want to comment of another countries gun laws only to say if or when it happens I hope at least they impliment regulation before prohibiting.

We had our semi's prohibited straight up in 96 & the same happened to NZ some 24 years later.
So NZ learn nothing from our experience!

Sometimes the lesser of something is better than not having it at all!

I can believe how many people are buying 1 lb of powder online and complaining about the fee. Obviously that doesn't make sense.

Either pay the price, by locally, buy more or don't buy at all. It's not complicated.

Im a new Reloader (this year) and I know when you can find what you need, order a large supply. That is the main reason I started reloading to always have what I needed on hand.

Have a great evening everyone!

Has it stopped any crime?
Not sure about crime rates but it has stopped any large massacres, the few we have had since have involved vehicles.
99% of gun crimes involve unlicenced persons & unregistered firearms but the media here like to group anyone including LAFO in the same group.

We have much different laws here, you cant get a licence & own a firearm with the reason being home defence.
Essentially if someone breaks into your home to harm you if you harm them your the one that will be charged usually!
The law states you can only use reasonable force to deter a thief in your home which sucks because they are there to harm you.

Overall this is a great country but the law makers/politicians have no balls & take the side of the criminals over the law abiding citizens.
Our courts are weak & in my eyes & are content with giving a person a slap on the wrist for murder & manslaughter.
For this reason its easier being a criminal because your going to get minimal punishment when caught.
They just have to say they were beaten as a child or they have some behaviour disorder & the courts start saying oh dear you poor thing

Our thug youth (under 18yrs) know they can roam around in gangs assalting & robbing people knowing that the law is just going to give them a slap on the wrist.

Essentually there are no real deterents!

Anyway thats enough of a rant for one day 🤐

Maybe that I am blessed, only have to drive 1.5hrs to get the powders that I use or make something else work that they have in stock.

Assuming that they don't have out of sight regular prices, a LGS can usually buy in enough quantity that they can spread to hazmat fee out over many pounds thus making it inconsequential. A $25 fee for 48 pounds adds about fiddy cents to the dealer's cost.

I don't think there is a limit, not sure how to ship it though.
Except for Mex lifornia it doesn't require a licenses to sell ammo if I remember correctly. Storage is the big problem inside a fire proof storage container. You can look it up on net. That where I found out what a fire proof container and sizing requirements.

Know what powders you can use in your reloads. You act like there is only 1 powder! There are probably 6-8 different powders you can use for your specific reloads, and as a hunter, probably can't justify the differences in performance, that is if you can see any. I've used IMR 4064 in every caliber I own, although I prefer IMR 4350 in my larger calibers. First check https://load-data.nosler.com/load-data/308-winchester/ to determine what powders you can use for specific reloads, they vary within a caliber for different loads, then check with your local supplier to see what they have.
I also use different powders and IMR 4064 as one of them. Now IMR 4350 changes depending on the weather from hot to cold. I had built up a load with IMR 4350 for one of my rifles during the cooler time to the year. As the weather warmed up so did the load. So that ended the IMR 4350, and change to H 4350sc. I also use Win 760 in a load another rifle I have. I do feel there a lot more hand loader out there now than a great many years ago. With longer barrels and slower powders makes a lot of different. I have 20+ reloading books and update all the time, and getting new one from different manufactures that make up the shoots supplies. The larger amount of powders and other items cuts down the cost. I gave away powder that I wasn't going to use anymore.
