Arrived today ! Awesome !

Guess I'll be doing the review.

Funny how many folks here spend megabucks on the latest rifle but nobody has the latest scope.

Scopes aren't as fun as rifles but make just as much difference. It is funny. Interested in your
Review

It arrived and OMG, it brings new meaning to KISS. Down load the app to your smart phone. Configure the cartridge details, altitude and temp. Snych phone with scope. Download to scope. Sight in @100 yards. Set the parralax. Put the black CH on the target (out to 1000) push the button. Red aiming point appears. Put it on the target. Shoot.

Another target another distance ? Put the black CH on the target (out to 1000) push the button. Red aiming point appears. Put it on the target. Shoot.

No doping, no knob twiddling, no picking which holdover line to use.

The App has 1000s of factory loads already. Probably almost any handload has a factory equivelent on the table.

Same deal for me, I bought one a while back with the Talley mount and it sits quite a bit higher than I would like. Have a set of rings ordered for it that should be here any day now.

I have checked with every base/mount maker.

I ordered these rings Warne Scope Mounts Warne Warnex 40mm Mountain Tech 1" Low Rings

And this base WEAVER Multi-Slot Base System - Remington 700 LA (700s and MK Vs generally use the same bases.)

Which MAY help. Next step if needed will be to attack the Talley rail which is needlessly high.

That Talley mount would be great IF the scope had a huge objective lens. It will work fine on my Tikka that has an sdjustable cheekpiece.

Found a partial solution to get it lower but have reached conclusion that this is a special purpose scope best suited to target style rifles with adjustable stocks.

Never will find a home on a "walk-about" rifle.

Bought a Weaver M700 mount that is .2" lower that the Talley rail.
Modified it w.Dremel to accept the Talley mount.
It is lower but hardly "low".

Pretty sure that optic is a no go in Oregon per our game regulations. Sounds like a step farther tech wise than the tracking point scopes went. Probably going to be fairly common in the next decades.

OR says: "
  • Infrared, night vision, laser or any other sight that projects a beam to the target, including scopes with electronic rangefinders and scopes that receive information from any electronic device."
How do you spell "beyond stupid".

Kalifornia Norte' !!
