New Savage 110 Ultralite with Proof CF Barrels

I didn't realize pushing a button is such a difficult task.
I never said it was. You asked why one needed to remove the bolt so often. I told you why. But now that you mentioned it being difficult , I witnessed a older chap at the range that had difficulty removing his bolt as it requires pushing the release and squeezing the trigger and then having the ability to pull the bolt. He was unable to do it without some assistance due to his arthritis. No need to bag on people here friend. I love Savages and I love Remmys. Some just have very strong opinions. Like you!

Does anyone know the weight of the accufit stock? Curious if picking up a 110 Ultralight and putting a different stock on it would add weight, decrease weight, or stay the same.

man, it's a shame the rifle is so ugly. No doubt it shoots good though.

watching that ad - a slow-mo once over of that savage -is like being shown a a slow panning of Hillary in a thong: sure, you know it'll kill everything that crosses it's path, but god help me, don't make me look at it.

I am not sure it looks much worse than any other proof barreled rifle - stocks are easy to swap out.

I actually like the way it looks. But to each their own. And I'm definitely no Hillary fan.

It matters when you want to put bottom metal on so that you can have a long COAL. If you don't know the reason for that, then it doesn't matter for you.

Actually, Savage factory SA mags accommodate longer COAL than AICS style SA or WSSM, including the ones with the front rib removed (eg Accurate Mag WSSM)
