What is the best hunting bullet 140 grain or heavier you used in your 6.5 caliber rifle

I used the 140 VLD out of my 6.5-284 @2950MV on a coyote at 210 yards. Even with the small body mass it left a huge exit wound. Coyote was DRT. I was deer hunting but didn't get a shot at one to test.
Used the 143 ELD-X out of my 6.5 Creedmoor @2830MV on a large WT at 265 yards. Punched through the ribs, destroyed the lungs and left a 1.5-2" exit wound. Deer traveled 30 yards and piled up.
Used the 143 ELD-X out of my 6.5PRC @2980MV on a Coues deer at 630 yards. Entered the ribs on the right and blew the left shoulder apart. Deer ran 10 yards and piled up. Also shot a WT at 130 yards through the ribs with a large exit wound. He ran about 10 yards and piled up.

Both of these bullets have performed perfectly out of my rifles. I do think the 143 ELD-X can cause a lot of meat damage but it put the animals down which is what it's supposed to do. Always caused a lot of internal damage and left large exit wounds.
I picked up some 156 VLDs to try but I'm worried about the 1:8 twist of my barrel. The new 144 LRHT looks interesting. I'm also interested in the 130 OTM and the 124 Hammer. It's kind of weird going to a lighter bullet but I've heard really good things about those 2.

I use two 264 caliber rifles the 260 rem with 22 inch barrel and a 24 inch 264 win mag .I was wondering which bullets you liked best for long range that were 140 grain and higher .I have used the lapua 155 grain mega tip in both of these but its bc is only. 377 .I want to try the 156 grain berger and a few more .I just have to have a bullet that will not blow up when used up close .
I've had good luck with 140 grain Sierra Game Kings our of my 6.5 06. Shoots accurately and hits hard. Likes faster velocities.

I've used the 140 Woodleigh, 140 Speer hot-cor, 140 Partition, 140 Accubond, and 142 ABLR on various game. I've found the Speer to be quite destructive, especially at shorter ranges. The Woodleigh is always dependable. The 142 ABLR is my all round favourite, accurate, holds together at close ranges, and is great for long shots.... In my 6.5-300WM

Sounds like what your are looking is a hammer bullet or a barnes I would think you will have to shoot a little lighter bullet due to twist rate but you will be at higher velocity, and the hammer bullets kill like crazy and easy for load development

My expirence with Woodleighs was not in a 6.5 but rather in my .300 RUM. 180 grain Woodleighs shot extremely accurately through my rifle. I shot a spike elk at 509 yards right behind the shoulder, twice because he barely reacted to the first shot and then walked over the crest of a ridge following the 2nd. I found him only 30 yards or so from where I last saw him. An examination of the animal found the bullets had passed through with little or no expansion. Same expirence on an antelope but I kind of expected it with them, dead but ran a couple hundred yards.

I've been using 140gn Berger Classic Hunters and found them to be very good at dropping deer on the spot out to 650m.....270WSM 3160fps

I am really impressed with the 140 gold dot in my long throat 26" barrel .264 win mag. 4 one shot kills between 260 and 450 yds. this year. I recovered one bullet fully expanded to over .700" at the widest, 121 gr retained. MV 3200 FPS, 3.460" COAL

How did the Barnes LRX perform on game?

I haven't had a chance to use the Barnes yet just bought them. I used AB this year exclusively and they are great. But looking for a little less meat damage. I have used Partition and Gameking with great results. I will not use the 143-x anymore though.
