Some hammer damage

So for anyone who thinks monos don't expand. Here is my 124 hh in a pig at 60 yards.
This is the worst damage I've seen. These bullets are amazing. Best performance I've ever seen on game. Nothing has gone more than 60 yards with shots behind shoulder.
What caliber?

I'm right at 2900fps with varget. In a 22" tube. I've seen no pressure yet but stopped at that point because it shot very well and I wanted to be safe when traveling or the heat. May resume load work this summer. But not sure the extra 50-100fps would make all that big of difference with my self imposed 600 yards limit on game. And that distance comes closer as game changes cause the creed no matter the bullet runs out of steam for game imo. I went with the 22" seemed to be a good balance with and without a brake. I run a harvester which is a bit long but seems great. Only time I notice the extra length is trying to get out of the truck or rzr quick for some pigs.
I think a 20" would be fine.
For your said distance I would say the creed fits the ticket perfectly. I had two complete pass through a on big hogs last week one at 398 and one at 404 with the hammers. Had some serious wind to deal with but it was a blast.

@Elkeater and I are going on an auodad hunt next week. He's running the 199 Hammer Hunter and I'm running a 200gr LRX. I'm really hoping to be able to post some results in the near future.
I hope you guys are both able to harvest and compare wound channels and such. I'm super interested in the Hammer bullet line.

I shot barnes a while back for hog hunting and they worked fine but then I moved to cutting edge that was hands down better than the Barnes more internal trauma and still exit wounds. Thought they were the cats ***. Then I tried hammers and they were just better. Especially for the farther shots. The copper is softer so you get more of the lead style wound but the shank is still solid and always passes through.
I'm really still amazed when I hear people won't even try the hammer or cutting edge when they run Barnes. To me they were both just an improvement to a already good bullet. Always worth trying something new. Some work some don't.

That's why I dont use them they kill great but its always a mess

I do have to say that the only reason I took this picture is because it's the first time I've got that. Most are perfect 1.5" style exit hole. This was shocking but over all monos so far less damage to the animals than lead.

They are simply the best bullet I've ever used. This was an exit on a decent sized bull, bullet just grazed the scapula going in, bull dropped in his tracks, starting rolling down the hill, leaving chunks of lung on the ground every time the shoulder touched. 303 yards, 30 Nosler, 181 grain hunter going 3270 FPS at the muzzle......and you can save the meat to the wound channel. No devastating bloodshot meat damage like I have experienced with lead core bullets. I discussed the design of these bullets with Steve at length before I tried them with regard to a number of solids I have used before and he was absolutely spot on with how they are designed to work.

What bullet and caliber and speed it was shot at?

I may have to try some Hammers. I've found pretty much all monos expand excellently and are easy to dial in a load for.
