I use the multi purpose Australian open loop sling,,, a person can carry the rifle in 3 different positions and or from either side of the body,,, I like to pack mine forward with barrel up...
The open loop Pops off the bottom of the stock when a person goes into fast draw and if it's adjusted right you can get one rap around your arm to help bring the rifle stock firm to the shoulder...
The sling adjustment buckle is fairly large and slides easy so you can cinch it up or down depending on the tension you require... It is designed to not slip when the rifle is in the pack mode...
2" wide sling with tuff material open loop that has rigided / flexible plastic peaces to allow the loop to pop off when you go into draw,,, and it slips back on easy with gloves on... Ha...
The fast draw can be with barrel up or down from either side of the body,,, the open loop also allows the rifle to swing around in the normal sling mode,,, 5" to 6" loop that becomes extra length to the sling when needed...
Yuppers,,, forward pack with barrle tip up allows me to cover ground with nothing in my hands... From pack to draw in less than a second once it's adjusted right...
