Where is all the 300wm brass???

you mean at 600 yards ???
one of my ranges actually had a running deer target at 100 yards.
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but does anyone have any pointers or a way to practice at hitting a moving target ( running deer) at distance.

again you ignored what the op SAID
quality..."the high quality brass"
winchester is not in that class

Quality is subjective. And since no definitive parameters have been set, anyone is free to suggest whatever they've had success with. Winchester takes more work than some, yes. It's not junk. Not everyone is shooting BR @ 1000 plus yards. You just like to preach, all the while you're just talking down to people who don't share your opinions or shoot in the same discipline. Get off your high horse.

Fixed it for you. Your signature says you don't hunt, so you don't get to make the definitions. Knock off the condescension.
Only 2 reasons a rude, ignorant person that "is not a hunter" would be on Long Range Hunting:
An operative from an ultra liberal left wing anti hunting organization.
Or has been banned from other sites ( Facebook etc...)
Best thing to do is click on his user-name and hit ignore!

and I'm dumping running deer at 500-600 yards with the low quality Winchester stuff... don't kid yourself there about the high priced crap being better... I've got both, and I'll put money on ww brass (with a trim/ possibly a sort if needed) any day
The buck in my avitar was brained with lowly r/p brass at over 300 yards...
It isn't worth the time to trim, sort, deburr flash holes, and uniform primer pockets.

I would much rather chamfer case mouths and go.

Got 100 new Norma coming from one of our members.

I went to all my suppliers and found that graf and sons has Hornady and winchester still in stock, Midwayusa has Norma and Hornady in stock, Black Hills Shooters supply has Winchester, Remington, Norma, Hornady, and Nosler. I hope this helps.

No kidding! Yesterday midway was out.

I just recently bought some .300 win from gunwerks it is some nice brass....necks are within a couple tenths it comes in a nice bag that is tagged with a lot number. Not sure if its considered high quality out there in the big world but throwing it out there as an option

I always forget about gunwerks. I believe ADG makes their brass for them.
