How many rifles does your wife think you own?

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only low life out there that either lies about how much rifles cost, or how many you have. My wife currently thinks I have (1) rifle and it's magically changed colors and size from year to yesr. I actually have had (6) customs in 2 years and currently have (3). So let's hear it. I know I am not the only one who keeps the spouse in the dark about rifle cost/quantity.

I just asked her - she said she has no idea. In my defense, I have never hid any purchases from her, I just think she doesn't care.

Also, I go through quite a few guns - try them out, sell them if I don't love them etc.

morning, I went thru a divorce 10yrs ago. first thing my ex-wife
told her lawyer was how many guns I had. I took all 20 plus guns
and pistols to a friends house left a shotgun, rifle and pistol in my
gun safe. her lawyer in the disposition ask how many guns I had.
I told him 3. he sent a court appointed deputy to my residence
and checked my safe. she wanted the safe sold. I said no. the
court gave me the 3 guns and my safe. she got $67,000. the house
and furnishings I had to split. I got my son, boat and all my tools.
SO HONESTY PAYS IF U DO NOT GET DIVORCED!!! got my guns
from my friend. trusted him more than her. totally believe in honesty.

This is so funny.

My wife knows of all the guns we have, I say we because we both shoot them all. She shoots and hunts with me, except the last couple if years because of the new family addition, she watches our boy at camp while im out hunting.

I am looking to get a new .223 bolt action for our son and she knows about it, even though he is only 18 months she is cool with it.

She loves venison especially the ribs and backstraps so I have to make sure she always has some and all is well Lol.

She loves being out hunting and camping with me so all I can say is I am a very very lucky guy.

Pretty sure she knows them all. Never hid a purchase or anything. As long as there's no real money spent like how I traded for my last rifle she's fine with it. She's pretty tight with the budget so I went years without buying any new guns. This year I bought two but honestly probably will only be buying the kids guns for a long time now. She did ok a suppressor purchase this year though.

This is an entertaining topic for sure. Lots of great responses. Before guns, it used to be motorcycles for me. I'm sure at one point I had as many bikes as I have guns now. Funny thing is, I never got as much grief when I dragged another scooter home as when I get a new gun. I think there's a revelation to be realized here. In the nearly 250 years of this country's history, women, generally speaking, have changed the most. Men, term used loosely nowadays, still have their God given innate instinct to provide and protect. Phrase never uttered by Martha Washington, "George, you just acquired how many muskets for the colonists?" Ok, so they would become the Continental Army, but they fought the first war against tyranny. Guess who'll be fighting the last one? Keep your powder dry, men!
