New 110 gr ELD-X in 25-06

I just saw a thread on here where they were talking about a 130 coming out made by black jack bullets. It has a g7 of over .300 I dont remember an exact number

No problem there, Berger has made a .277 cal 170 grain, a 7mm cal 195 grain, they are making a 6.5 cal 156 grain that will probably require a tighter twist, hornady has made a 180 ELD-M that does better with a tighter twist, so it isn't really a problem at all. These bullets aren't made for factory guns, but instead for custom long range rigs.

I don't see Hornady or Berger doing this, I don';t think the volume or momentum for future sales in the .25 cal, I say this being a .25 cal fan and have a nice Sendero 25-06 AI that Kirby Allen set up for me and a Number 1 257 Wea.
 
I think it's a stretch too. With 6mm and 6.5 having so many options in 8 twist, it would be tough to market .257 fast twist .

I was intrigued by the 110 ELD because it seemed like the highest BC I could stabilize out of my 10 twist

The 115 Berger will stabilize just fine out of a 10t 25-06, my buddy shoots them with great accuracy
 
I am looking forward to trying the Hornady 110, I have some 115 Bergers and the BC is roughly the same with these 2. The 115 has a good reputation for Deer, I suspect that the Hornady may expand better at the longer practical ranges because of the tip, but I don't know that. These 2 are about the limit I think for a 1-10 unless your rifle can really push a heavier bullet. I still have some 125 Wildcat VLD's, I pushed them to 3250 and at that velocity they were on the edge I think
