Fossil Point near Decatur, you need to qualify to shoot steel at 800. I think shoot 1 MOA at 200 yards

There is a 700 yard set up near Terrell, Poetry gun club (no steel allowed though)

there is a range in Decatur. Fossil Pointe. big facility, shotgun/skeet/100/200 yard rifle range. they also have a long range steel target range from 350-800 with steel at 50 yard increments.

If you're out of Burleson, there's the TripleCrange.com at Cresson that claims 2000 yard steel and anything in between. I have not verified this, but their website shows it. It's on Hwy 171 between Weatherford and Cleburne.

There's Tac Pro about 65 miles west of Fort Worth near the town of Mingus. 1000 yard range available to members and their guests. Get your shoot on then head to Mary's Cafe in Strawn for one of the top 5 chicken fried steaks I've ever had.

I live north of Fort Worth. Fossil pointe by Decatur is pretty nice. You can shoot steel out to 800 once you qualify at 200. What caliber you shooting?

I live near Decatur. Fossil point is a great facility. There Graham rifle and pistol club (they hold monthly bench matches) Ridgerunner gun range in Breckenridge ( steel at a 1000)
These are private ranges with a membership fee but both are very responsible price. Graham has a 400 yard match this month.

I live in Mingus and am I have been reloading and hunting for years but have just got started trying to learn to shoot longer ranges. I am retired and do not have a big budget so I opted for a 6.5 with a Viper Scope. I would like to get some ideas and info from some of you guys that have more experience if possible. If some of you would let me know where and when you are shooting I would like to come out and learn.

I'm in Arlington and have been up to fossil point in Decatur a couple of times. I've been having some load issues and haven't qualified for the 800 yd range yet but I'm trying to get out a couple times a month. You could also check out the TXPrc North club on Facebook for monthly prs club matches. They shoot at Jacobs plain gun club and ETTS in waxahachie third Saturday every month.

Try ETTS just southeast of May Preal texas to shoot the long range you must bea member and shoot MOA at 200yds,
