Here's my favorite. It's a Marlin XS7 243 w/ a Nikon Buckmasters 6-18. I put my own camo job on this gun since it was all completely black. I made my own cheekpiece and did a bed job myself. Floated the barrel, and worked up my own handloads. I have it lined up 1.5" high at 100 yards which puts me 1.2" low at 300. That covers 95% of where I hunt but I can dial out to 500. I really don't trust the 55 grain past that. If I'm hunting a field bigger than about 400 I'll take a different gun. The Nosler 55 grn BT set .002" off the lands running near right on 4000 gets me 5/16" groups at 100 yards. This gun is extremely lightweight, comfortable, and accurate, which is why it's my favorite. Picked it up new at my LGS for $319 a few years ago. I have not been disappointed with it.

Ok, Show me your favorite coyote gun.

This is like asking which child is your favorite because I love all of my rifles for coyote hunting. But if I had to choose... it would probably have to be the Ruger m77 in 243 win. with a Nikon buckmaster 3-9x40. My bullet choice is not what most guys would likely use, a 100 gr sp, but I have had great success with this setup and not one dog has taken a single step after being hit and exit wounds have all been small.

My 2nd favorite is a 16" bushmaster with an EOtech shooting hornady 55gr spire points. Maybe not as classy, but dang it is effective. Didn't have close up pics of just the rifles but you get the idea.

Wow c bass. Those are some pretty suped up coyote guns. I bet the suppressor helps when you call in multiples. On he east coast here we don't really have that problem. The coyotes here are so wary I have yet to call in a double. In fact I've never seen more than one at once here ever.

Awesome rigs you have there! And excellent picture of a ridiculous group of dogs coming in to the call!

This is my first post so hopefully I loaded the picture correctly. I built the AR myself and the scope is an ATN Gen 2CGT Night Arrow 4x.

How far out do you shoot with your 300 BLK? I have been looking at some 243's thinking the range would suffer on the Blackout.

    Very nice rifles from all.

Skip ahead to about the 7:00 mark. Now...i'm not suggesting that this is easy, or even that it's an option for predators...but it's certainly do-able if you know your ballistics.

DPMS Prairie Panther in Brush and Nikon Coyote Special 4.5-14 and M-223 Mount all in Brush. So far 5:5 of 'yote's with the longest shot 427 yards. Showed a buddy my rifle and he liked it so much Nikon used it in a photo shoot. Pretty and accurate!
