I am putting this on a Savage 111 .300 win mag. I was thinking of Talley mounts or maybe a Ken Farrel base and Weaver type rings. Does anyone know what height of rings I need to get. The AO is on the side. I would like to get everything right the first time, just once. Thanks

I have that same scope and with the side parallax adjustment the zeiss objective diameter is much smaller as i'm sure you know.
I can mount mine on a remington 700 with low rings but i prefer medium because it give me a better cheek-weld.Hope this helps a little.Mike
