xp100 action question

In my searching for an xp too build off of I found a bare action on gunbroker. No trigger but want it to stay a center grip so still shouldn't be a problem finding one. The question I have is the recoil lug is TIGed to the reciever. Will that make it a problem for the smith doing my work? Or should I steer clear and keep looking?

It shouldn't be a problem, as long as the job was done cleanly.

How much did you find the action for? I just bought a 700 ADL rifle at a pawn shop for $400, wasn't able to find an action by itself for any less. They had a couple of older Savages for less, I just chose the Remington for aftermarket product selection.
