Xmas tree reticle FFP for under $1000?

I have not read much about these, but this Hawke frontier 30mm 4-20x50 is ffp, illuminated, xmas tree, LIGHT, locking zero stop turrets. On paper looks pretty ---- legit.

Hawke scopes are excellent but not too many guys have posted about them.

We are so confident that if you go Hawke you'll be happy that if you buy a Hawke Frontier from us and it's not to your liking we will take it back. How's that for confidence?

Doug, what level of glass do you feel the new Frontier 30mm units have, similar to a pst gen 2, leupold vx5hd? Some sort of relevance would be greatly appreciated. Have you played with their locking zero stop turrets, are they solid in execution?
