I would like to find a ruger guide rifle with the laminate stock in 375 RCM. I have looked around and just can't find one. I would consider the 338 but hope to find the 375. I just booked an alaska moose trip and can't wait a year for a gun!!!

I have a ffl so out of curiosity I just checked stock with Davidsons. The only 375 Ruger in stock was left handed. They do have some Savages in 375 ruger. good Luck. can't believe this is so hard to find......

I assume you want a right handed rifle but I have a lh ruger in 338rcm (walnut) with reloading components if your interested. Just send PM Rick

Saw this on Cabela's: Ruger® Guide Gun Bolt-Action Rifles : Cabela's

No online sales, but you can try the nearest store to you.

Of subject, but, how well do these shoot and what range do they have? Similar to a 35 Whelen or Whelen Improved? Or maybe a 450 Marlin? I like that 375 Ruger Case, it has a lot of potential necked down if you ever re barrel.

Thanks

Yeah I am looking for right hand............ it's one of the good times to be a lefty, they are available everywhere.

I saw the Cabelas ad, they don't have any in stock new or used.

The ballistics are pretty much the same as the H&H. I just liked the short 20" barrel, laminate stock and open sights. I will be hunting off the river so a quick pointing gun with lots of power out to 200 yards is pretty much what I am looking for. I really like the 375 RUM better but it needs a longer barrel and most don't have open sights.

I enjoy surveying Buds Gun Shop site, although there is some danger if I find someting I can't live without. Here's the closest rifle thye have in stock:

Ruger HM77RSB 375 RUG MZBRK BL $825.00 SHIPS FREE

If you have or establish a Buds id you can get a notification when a gun arrives. Here's what you're looking for but out of stock:

Ruger HKM77RSG 375 RUG GUIDE SS $825.00 SHIPS FREE

Buds also does trades, only online outfit to do so as far as I know. I've done a couple with them, realizing you don't get full price for your gun.

Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Thanks, I will setup a buds account. It's frustrating that you just have no idea when something will be available. I am shocked that after years of stuff being out of stock some of these bigger companies wouldn't step up production.

I hadn't heard of it. Did some poking around. Sounds like a great rifle. Review says trigger is about 4-1/2 lbs with a little creep. Rifle Basix makes a replacement for about $92. To bad about the supply. Maybe a distributor search from your LGS could turn up something. Otherwise a call to Ruger might turn something up or at least a production estimate.

I know these aren't the EXACT rifle you are looking for, but they are options that will get you very close to what you are after:

RUGER M77 HAWKEYE .375 RUGER ALASKAN : Bolt Action Rifles at GunBroker.com

Ruger M77 Hawkeye African 37186 375 Ruger NEW : Bolt Action Rifles at GunBroker.com

https://www.realgunsstore.com/index.php?crn=614&rn=329872&action=show_detail

Also, these are much different rifles than what you stated you are looking for, but they are chambered for a comparable round and the asking prices represent absolutely SCREAMIN' deals:

Same here! I've heard of the .300 and .338 RCM (.375 Ruger parent case). Are (???) they calling the the .375 Ruger a .375 RCM now?

Seems like it from this article >>> Rifle Review: The Ruger Guide Gun in .375 RCM | Outdoor Life

Not that it matters, just wondering, so WE all know what the subject matter is on hand. :):Dlightbulb

Re: WTB Ruger 375 guide gun

Thanks for the links.

The hawkeye looks good, hate to spend $1500 on a factory gun but it might have to happen.

To the name, RCM or not RCM. I guess without is the correct way, ruger web page does not call it a RCM but all the searching around the net I search both ways as people list them both ways.

I emailed 20 gun stores and called a bunch with no luck and no estamate on supply times. I also emailed ruger and got no response.

Thanks for the responses
