SOLD/EXPIRED WTB Remington 700 Safety

I need a safety for an old style Remington 700 trigger. I don't need the one with the long tang that locked the bolt, just the short tang one, preferably blued, not stainless. Oh, and by the way, before you drive the rear pin out on the 700 trigger, make sure the safety is on.

I replaced one several years ago.I got one from Rifle Basics that works well.Problem is I can't remember where I got it from.It's a little kit that comes with everything needed to do the job.

All I need is the safety lever. Everything else is fine.

Been there...done that. Good luck finding just the safety lever

You can just shorten the part that locks the bolt enough where it wont engage the slot in the bolt.
