Bottom metal -BDL hinged floor plate style.

6.5 light profile or fluted barrel. I want to make a 22-26" light weight hunting rifle under 9lbs with a scope mounted

If money is not really an object, and you want the best glass you can get for hunting, look into this scope & mount setup. I have this same setup on a Rem 700 for hunting. The glass and lens coating is incredible.

If he's wanting all-out custom, I think he should build a 6.5 Sherman. Baddest 6.5 out there on a standard bolt face.

And would work perfect with your Tac30 action, if it's a long action.

If it was a long action it would be a TAC 300 instead of a TAC 30 and wouldn't be what the guy is looking for.
