So named by one of the kids in hunting camp and it has been a favorite for 40 years.
In a crock pot...
Combine
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 16 oz container of LOW FAT or NO Fat sour cream
1 soup can or regular cheap dry sherry
Optional: A pint of whatever kind of mushrooms you like.. (I prefer cut up portabello muchrooms)
This goes in about an hour before your ready to serve..
1/2 pint regular full fat sour cream
You should be able to fit at least 6 to 8 chicken breasts in the mix... only put in as much as you can cover with the liqud ingredients
Put it on low in the morning and it should be ready to eat by around 3 about 6 hrs.
Serve over french cut string beans and/or rice and of course some dinner rolls to soak up the juice!
Enjoy
