Last night was 60+ F so I grilled pork and pears, today was snow sideway, so I adjusted.


Crockpot Venison Roast in Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:


1 to 2 lb venison roast (steak) cut into chunks

1 md onion diced

2-4 clove garlic minced

8-12 oz mushrooms sliced

32 oz beef stock

2Tbs salt

2TBbs Cumin

1/4 c brown sugar

1 Tbs Salt

1 Tbs Black pepper

2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 pkg dry onion soup mix

2 cups cranberries

*Tapioca to thicken



Directions:

  • Place all ingredients in crock pot cook 6 to 8 hours.
  • Thicken if you want with Tapioca, cornstarch, whatever. (pull broth whisk in agent add back and cook until)
