I got my wife's 6.5 PRC back from TS Customs. We're very happy with it.
20 inch benchmark, carbon fiber barrel
Tuebor Ti SA
manners carbon fiber stock.12" LOP
Luepold VX3HD 4-14x50 with red dot
shooting factory Hornady 147gr match
Weighs 7.2 lbs full setup
Average velocity was 2872
Wind:15-25 mph gusts from the south.
Took it out to 500 yards, w/Hornady 4DOF
at 100 yards all shots were touching
I then took it out to 200 yards before going to 500.
20 shots down the tube, cleaned after each 4-5 shot string. Lots of carbon…very little copper

Went out and shot again today same half-inch group at 200 yards. Then took it out to 700yds..3/4" average MOA.
going to test it with a suppressor this weekend to see if it changes point of impact much. I'm hoping with a shorter stiffer barrel it won't change too much. 500 yards is max range on game animals with this gun.

Yes, she is. She loves to shoot…she chose two other cartridges and had guns built for them. 6BRA and 22GT

I recently received my 6.5PRC from Travis. Mine was built with his stock, 22" Benchmark carbon barrel (+ a 26" steel Benchmark barrel), LPA Fuzion TI action. I only have 20 down the carbon barrel but am following Benchmarks break in standards 1 shot and clean for 8 shots , then 3/4 shot strings followed by a clean for four strings using a good copper remover/bore cleaner , I'm using Wipe Out Patch Out. I used 147 ELDMs. I had a lot of copper through the second 3/4 shot string.

Beautiful rifle.

Nice looking rifle. I like his brakes but on a 20 inch 6.5 PRC there is quite a bit of muzzle rise… almost no recoil to speak of but really snappy on the muzzle rise. I'm thinking about trying to MDT muzzle brake with the adjustable that holes on the top.

she just shot this on Saturday with the Precision Hunter ammo.
