I am looking for a powder that burns a little slower then red dot but still takes up a good amount of space like the red dot. Ive tried H4227 but doesnt fill the case enough in my mind. Its for a 338 whisper rifle 7mm BR case necked up to shoot a 338cal 300 Mk bullet. will all types of powder get a low ES or some are just better then other. which to look for in this burn rate?

Is H-110 or Winchester 296 worth a try? You may want to call JD Jones at SSK and ask for data as he is the originator of the Whisper concept.

Called ssk but they wont give out any info.because they didnt build it. I was thinking blue dot. but how is the flake powder over all for ES. Trying to find a powder that takes up the same amount of space. i was using H4227 but it barely fills the case up. trying to not use any fillers.
